Recently, I installed a DC on a Dell server that has a RAC PPP connection and one NICs connection. It seems that Microsoft has problem handling DDNS. Now, whenever I do a ‘nslookup’ on our domain it shows that we have an extra Domain Controller with the ip address of 192.168.234.235.

One solution to this is to disable the RAC hardware and service.
