If you are getting an error when you are trying to install the 32 bits version of Microsoft Office 2010 onto a 64 bits Windows 7 OS, you might encounter an error during the installation.

Follow the steps below to fix this.

1. Startup the Registry windows
2. Find the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENT CONTROL SET\SERVICES\MSIserver”
3. Look for the “WOW64″ key and modify it.
4. If the value is set to “1”, change it to “0”. If the value is set to “0”, then change it to “1”.
5. Exit out and restart the machine
6. Try installing Microsoft Office 2010 again.
