If you are planning on using Google+ Hangout, you will need to install a video chat plug-in to your browser. For all Google products, we recommend using the Google Chrome browser. This is because all of their programs are integrated nicely on their browser.

In order to get Google+ Hangout to install and run correctly, you will need to make sure your version of browser isn’t 64-bit (e.g. Internet and Safari 64-bit has issues). It needs to be 32bit. Also, make sure you have the following plugins (“Apps Enhancements” and “O3D“) installed and enabled. If not, you will need to get them enabled. Go to your browser’s plugins setup page for instructions on how to enable them.
