With Windows XP, you can enable or disable file sharing and also printer sharing from your computer.

To enable or disable file or printer sharing:

1. You will need to go into the “Network Connections” section under “Control Panels”

2. Right click on the Network adapter connection and choose “Properties”

3. Check the “File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks” option

4. Click “Ok” and you are done
