Below are instructions on how to copy and install APK files to Android phones.

APK stands for Android Package.

1 – Download and Install the “Apps Installer” app from the Android Market

With the “Apps Installer” app, you can install .apk files from your external storage (SD card).

2 – Connect your Android phone to your PC or MAC

3 – Your computer should see your Android phone as a new hard disk, copy your APK files to it

4 – Launch the “Apps Installer” on the phone and browse to your APK files to install

5 – Once installed, the new application should show up on your phone
