Below are the steps to turn on and off the spelling check and grammar check for Microsoft Word 2007 and Microsoft Word 2010

Word 2007

– Click on the Microsoft Office Button and select “Options”
– Click Proofing
– To clear automatic spell checking, uncheck the “Check Spelling as you type” option
– To clear automatic gramma checking, uncheck the “Check grammar as you type” option
Word 2010

– In Word, click on the File menu tab
– Select “Options”
– Click Proofing
– To clear automatic spell checking, uncheck the “Check Spelling as you type” option
– To clear automatic gramma checking, uncheck the “Check grammar as you type” option
