HP has just unveiled a tablet, Slate 500, to compete with Apple’s iPad. The Slate 500 will cost $799 and will be running Windows 7. The size is smaller than the iPad. It has a webcam and uses SSD disk. The Slate 500 looks more like a strip down Netbook and aimed for business users.
