Recently, I have experienced this issue with my iPhone that every time I clicked on an app it blinks for a second then back to the home screen.

This was happening for Google Hangout, WhatsApp, Yelps, Google+, Flipboard, etc…

I searched online and tried a few suggested solutions.

e.g.

– Restarting the device

– Update firmware

None of them worked for me. It turned out these apps just need an update.

To update these apps, all you have to do is click on the AppStore and then the Update button. Once done, all apps are working correctly.
