Outlook Global Address Book is empty

If you are getting the following error when Outlook is downloading the Offline Address Book.

Here are some steps you need to check

– Make sure your Global Catalog server is working properly

– Make sure your Exchange server can see the GC domain controller

– Make sure you public folders are working correctly

If the Global Address Book is blank or empty when you start Outlook, check which Global Catalog the address is getting from. This will give you a good direction of which DC is the problem.
